“If you are looking for a top-notch, high quality powder coat job, look no further, these guys are the real-deal! I had another shop here in SD powder coat my wheels last year and within a few months my wheels had close to 10 chips down to the metal. Long story short, that shop didn’t stand behind their work, nor do it correctly (didn’t sandblast the wheel after acid dipping to remove the factory paint/powder coat and used the cheapest powder coat product possible) and wasn’t going to fix the problem so I went and visited Bradford. Upon arival, I was welcomed into the shop and shown the difference between having a clear coat and not, and explained the benefits vs cost. Once I got them in the mail and got the tires mounted on them I noticed that the finish was awful and was already peeling off the wheels. “I’ve been searching all over San Diego to find the best powder coating company I could find, these guys are it. I have some BBS rims that I wanted to refurbished and restore back to its glory days. Originally they were silver and had paint peeling, they were in dire need of help. I contacted these guys and they said they would sand blast, hand sand, and powder coat my rims all in the same day. I dropped them off at 0830 and picked them up at 1730. Amazing customer service, especially when picking paint. They came out to my car with samples and helped me choose. The job was done right, and I can see my wheels lasting me a long time. If you have quality wheels and are concerned, don’t be with these guys. I’ve seen 2 piece wheels separated and being worked in the back, I mean these guys do it all. In the pictures you’ll see rims in the oven, there is a green piece of plastic on the back wheel hub, this is to protect the surface that touches your rotors. They even sand the back wheel hub after painting, just to ensure your safety. I’m enjoying my wheels, I’m sure you will too.”

“After many weeks of searching for a reliable powder coat/paint service company I bumped into Bradford’s and couldn’t be happier. I found this place with the help of Yelp, read some comments saying how satisfied they were with their final product and decided to come down and take a look at the place.
What I found was a friendly, trusty, clean, fast and professional team.

Story: Had been looking to refurbish/repair my Porsche wheels and powder coat them. Some of my wheels were really damaged (curb rash, dents and deep scratches). Most of the paint/wheel repair shops asked me to bring the wheels demounted (no tire). Most of us cant take the time or even have the right tools/knowledge to remove them out AND THEN take them back to the shop.
Thats where Wheel Depot and Bradford’s Powder Coating partnership/teamwork made miracles and facilitated everything for me. I just had to drop my car in Wheel Depot and they would start this whole project. They demounted them, repaired them, sent the wheels to Bradford’s for painting and then back. Everything worked out smooth and really transparent with how they operate.

They gave me and my car exceptional service and kept me updated with the ongoing progress.
You would think this cost me a fortune hahah but it didn’t! Price was fair and direct, no hiding fees, all straight up!
They had a variety of paint colors, from basic to some really beautiful and exotic.
They work together in the process with Wheels Depot, who took amazing care on repairing and bringing my wheels back to life before the powder coat.

For many of us it is really hard to let other people handle your car issues/maintenance/upgrades, but I would never hesitate to visit Bradford Powder Coating/Wheel Depot for anything besides car jobs!

“Okay, where do I start!
I called Mike and right away I knew I was at the right place. I’ve used many powder coating places before and they always have receptionists that don’t seem to care and quote you ridiculous wait times and I thought it was normal. Not with Bradford..Mike answered the phone and told me that my car rims would be ready the same day. Other shops wanted me to take the tires off myself and drop the rims off and come back 7 to 10 days later. What would I do without a car for that Long.
Mike had us drop the car off at a Wheel Depot and picked up my rims and took them back and installed them. This whole process was done the same day within hours.
